Stress Kills and Ruins Lives – Learn How to Just Relax

Most of us don’t have a moment to slow down and relax during our days. The amount of multi-tasking we do is unbelievable! The daily commitments of raising a family, working full-time, shopping, driving our kids to numerous activities, meetings, homework, household chores, yard maintenance, making time for our loved ones, walking the dog, plus everything else - all adds up to an extremely hectic lifestyle!

 

This type of lifestyle will eventually catch up with us and break us down if we don’t make a commitment to make and take the time to for ourselves to relax. It is so important for our body, mind and spirit to have quiet time to turn off everything stressful in our outer reality.

 

Here are a few red flags; the beginning warning signs and symptoms of stress that are telltale signs that you need to take time to relax:

 

  • Moodiness
  • Agitation
  • Short Temper , Starting Fights, Anger Out-bursts
  • Constant Worrying
  • Weight Gain
  • Skin Problems
  • Fearful Anticipation
  • Procrastination
  • Poor Judgment
  • Restlessness, Inability to Relax
  • Depression,  Socially Withdrawn or Complete Isolation
  • Headaches, Backaches, Neck and Shoulder Pain
  • Diarrhea or Constipation
  • Stomach Upsets
  • Insomnia, Fatigue
  • Frequently Sick
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Eating Too Much or Not Enough
  • Unexplained Crying, Nervous Breakdown
  • Loss of Sex Drive and/or Physical Contact

Study after study shows that stress kills and ruins people’s lives. Relaxing is a key factor in feeling better about ourselves, our relationships and our lives in general.
